Song was born in South Korea and has lived in New York since her teenage years. She graduated from Pratt Institute with BFA in Interior Design but has changed her career to work in the field of education after realizing the feeling of fulfillment that comes from leading students to learn the joy of learning. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Childhood Education at Queens College. She has been working as an educator since 2016, working with a diverse group of students throughout New York City and in South Korea. She believes in creating impact on students’ lives through creating curricula that incorporates art and social-emotional learning into core academic subjects.

As someone who believes that all children deserve equal opportunity to grow and reach their full potentials, she is excited to bring her passion and creativity to the Green Generations and be part of this wonderful team
